Several problems with that, One he “Claimed” without proof I dont put any stock in this.
There are jewish items in the Vatican, Ive seen them myself, but many are mismarked and mistranslated. I am sure you have heard of the Famous Michaelangelo Statue of Moses (Its not in the Vatican, but near the Colesseum) where Michaelangelo thought Moses had horns and made a scuplture of him with horns.
The Terms THE Jewish Temple (Beis Hamingdosh) and FROM a Jewish Temple (could be any shul) are easy to mistake
