This thread, as presented, is nothing like what I intended. I originally copied a text from another publication, which discussed the problem of integrating Chareidim into the rest of Israeli society. A YWN moderator reasonably edited out a major portion of my opening post, out of concern for copyright violations. Nevertheless, a lively discussion has followed, on topics and issues I had not intended. Please continue.
