I always mentioned my city so when my husband had surgery and we posted his name for tefillos anyone who knew me, knew my screen name. I don’t care because I try to be real and if I want to be personal I have an unused screen name reserved for that.
The only time I mind is when I want to seek advice on a community/school issue and can’t because it would be Lashon Hora to those who know the ‘players’.
