Commuters in Brooklyn and Queens now have a new way to get to work all year long in Manhattan.
The new East River Ferry kicked off its maiden voyage on Monday.
“What we really need to do if we’re going to clear out our streets, make our subways a little less crowded, is embrace our rivers as blue highways,” Council Speaker Christine Quinn said during the inaugural ride.
