Reply To: Is Israel bent on losing their protection?

It is worthwhile reviewing the history of the Gaza disengagement: After the RZ parties left the government in response to the announcement of the disengagement plan, Agudath Israel, which had not been a part of any Israeli government since the early 1950s, joined the government! That was (correctly) viewed as a slap in the face by the Religious Zionists. If one is to seriously blame the government for the consequences of the disengagement, the charedi leaders have to share that blame.
