The way I learned it, the reason we don’t listen to music during Sefira is in order to remind us not to make a wedding. If someones minhag is to hold different days in Sefira, since they are allowed to make the wedding you are allowed to attend the wedding. I didn’t learn anything about music by sheva brachos though.
