I said that why does it say ??? ??? ???? ??? etc.; It should say ??? ??? ???? ???.

So the baalei mussar say that it is because everyone thinks they are the chochom. (Echod is chochom, and the same echod is really the rasha, or tam, or sheino yodeah though.)

But Rav Pam said that it is because they are all the same person–and depending on his choices, he will be any of those 4.

But I made it all up.
