I once heard that when REb Elchonon was in America someone told him he works on shabbos but lmaaseh he doesn’t trust anybody in americas shchita so he wanted to shecht his own meat. HE asked if the psul of the shechita of a mechalel shabbos is a psul in neemanus or a psul in the chalois shechita.
