A 23-year-old Monroe resident was struck by a van yesterday while walking through the Monsey shopping center parking-lot off Route 59. According to the Journal News, the victim was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for minor injuries and later released. Police told the Journal News that they have arrested & charged a 53-year-old man with leaving the scene of an accident.
