A city bus and an SUV collided last night at Kennedy Airport, fatally injuring one person.

Cops said the two people in the SUV were friends who both worked on Delta’s ground crew. The passenger died. His name was withheld because his family is in Barbados and could not immediately be notified. The driver, Kareem France, 25, was in the intensive care unit at Jamaica Hospital.

The B-15 bus carried 9 passengers and the driver. As many as seven were hurt, but only two were taken to the hospital. Their injuries were described as non-life threatening.
