Years before I became Orthodox, I knew that rap music and most secular music of the past 40 years was little more than sex, smut, perversion, violence, and misogyny. For Jews to invite this into their lives and to start a marriage off on this foot is a bad idea. Likewise, aping Santa Claus is a shonda.
