Just back from the Infectious Disease Dr.’s.

Ugh, another two weeks on all the IV antibiotics! Guess I’ll be spending Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur with an IV attached to me. But it certainly beats the alternative of going back to the hospital in excruciating pain!

I found out that my white blood cel1 count was 27,000 when I was in the hospital (normal is 4000-9000)! As of now, my pain is mostly controlled (with Percocet). I just have to contend with the PICC line, the IV infusions, the metallic taste 24/7 in my mouth and the massive fatigue. All in all, not a bad deal, considering.

I do not think, I know, that your kindness in recitinf tehillim and davening for me is helping tremendously. Thanks you all, again!
