Eli Beer, President of United Hatzalah was pleased to host a visit from Rabbi Dovid Cohen, CEO of Chevra Hatzalah. The 2 discussed various ways that their respective premiere Hatzalah organizations can learn from each other. Both men agreed that ongoing and regular communication and collaboration between the organizations will help optimize the ultimate goal of hatzalas nefashos.

Many pressing issues were discussed by the two and action items were put in place to enhance the cooperation. Issues that were discussed included rising insurance costs and  technological advances in the field of emergency medicine. Eli Beer introduced Rabbi Cohen to the award-winning GPS-based Moskowitz LifeCompass Dispatch Technology.

Rabbi Cohen was impressed with the broad level of kiddush hashem and goodwill that United Hatzalah medics create among the often divided population of Israel.
