Hi, CA.
No. It’s not that at all that kept me away for some time. Iv’e taken a bigger, much bigger beating in the past. One that really sent me reeling (bawling). Still, I came back. I learnt (and still continue to learn) how to communicate, interact etc. (hence ‘Midos under construction’)
It’s just that lately with this awareness of internet dangers (and accessories), I’d like to wait, to decide what to do. On one hand, while I don’t know if anyone appreciates (or puts up with) my input over here, I certainly enjoy it (oh, really). It gives me feeling of togetherness, camaraderie, friendship. Learning different subject, debating, discussing. Watching human interactions, different personalities as they engage in open (and closed) dialog. Real fun, interesting. Then there’s maybe a bit of humor someone (or humble me) puts in, to brighten the day, a sunshine for us to smile at. ???? ?????? ??????. Also I maybe, could be, honed some writing skills (thank you chrome auto-spell-checker), Mommy would be proud of.
On the other hand, maybe it’s not the right thing. Too much online, (must I say the word ‘addiction’?) Maybe it’s bitul zman, although any shmoozing would be considered so.
So I’m a bit confused. I wanted to wait, to see when the dust settles, how ‘Klal Yisroel’ would react. Right now most people I see are still ‘under the influence’, under the spell of the ruach of the Gedolim’s asifa. It’s too hard to see where it’s heading to. Are all non-business related going to be banned? Is that ??? ?????? ?????? ?????? (I could argue that it’s business related because YW – our gracious host – maybe gets some business through our posts, some would call that a stomach thought.) How much permitted, prohibited.
I didn’t want to be the ??, the scoffer who undoes the ‘hundred admonishments’, one of those who ????? ???? writes ??? ?? ??? ????? ???. I certainly do not want in the least to break the powerful effect, spell the Gedolim, the great Asifa itself, cast over the public.
