From Times Herald Record: Brief traffic stoppages will take place along the NYS Thruway starting tomorrow (Thursday) to allow blasting for a Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation pipeline replacement project. The traffic stoppages will take place approximately six miles north of Interchange 15A (Sloatsburg, Suffern, Route 17 North, Route 59) in both the northbound and southbound directions.
The first stoppage will take place between 10:00AM and noon tomorrow. Throughout the duration of the project, two stoppages are scheduled for Mondays through Wednesdays, between 10:00AM and 2:00PM, with one stop scheduled for Thursdays between 10:00AM and noon, weather permitting. The stoppages will last a maximum of 10 minutes. Blasting is expected to conclude by Thursday, August 23.
