I have a theory that the CR is WAY too uptight and self-conscious. I think if we have threads that we only respond with the first dumb thing that comes to our head, the CR would be in much better shape.

I feel like I have to spend time thinking and rethinking the best way to write a comment, all for the purpose of not sounding like a fool in public. It ends up being an endless downward spiral, for as long as everyone writes smarter and wittier comments, the less the Average Joe can take part in the conversation without sounding like a fool.

Therefore I ask for everyone to please write ONLY dumb comments unless the thread is discussing if a sound is a heard in an empty forest.
