While I was single I worked as a teacher in a girls school. The salary is humiliating, but I loved the environment and needed the social part of it as well. Teaching in an average school, with no degree and no major experience can pay you anywhere btwn 8k-15k a yr. . The better schools up to 20k. If you are in a top school and have experience maybe up to 30k. Teaching is not something I even considered once I got married.
