I just looked at the machzor vitri and there is not one word that indicates chalila that Hashem has a Guf or a “body” as you said. Just look up the machzor Vitri and you realize my off the bat interpretation of Rashi is by far closer to the Machzor Vitri than yours. Just find me one source that would apply the concept of Guf to Hashem.
