According to the Jerusalem Post, the Knesset has passed a bill requiring bicycle riders to wear helmets. As soon as the law goes into effect (2 months) police will start issuing fines to those caught riding without a helmet.

even without being the law, seychel should tell you to always wear a helmet.
Can not believe there will be enough police available to enforce this ruling? Wearing a helmet can save you from life threatening injuries.
At least there is one law that was recently passed in the Knesset that will save lives and will not be biased against the Chareidim.
I been living in israel for 4 years and i can count on one hand how many people ive seen here riding with helmets. Why do we need the knesset to make a law why cant someone go and tell the gedolim what a sakono it is, everybody here is so worried that you have to have a kosher phone…. how about they worry about themselves physically
