mdd: The Litvish Gedolim don’t “do not fight them so much“. The Litvish Gedolim do not fight them at all. And not only do they not fight them, they actually join them, as I mentioned above. And the reason they join them (and do not fight them at all), is because they hold of them as Gedolei Yisroel. And even if they may have different shittos on some halachic issues, they consider each other as full Torah-oriented kehillos.
