I am the non-working relative who babysits for my grandchildren. My pleasure. Not everyone has a Bubbysitter, and in that case, must rely on a babysitter. Unless you are paying your friend (and more important, trust her with your child), don’t keep asking someone you know to watch your kids. It becomes a tircha, and unless you reciprocate by taking THEIR kids, they come to feel used.
