I believe there is another major error in “other things we refrain from” 1e. He says uses a baby wipe isn’t considered washing. While this is true, most baby wipes contain some sort of soap/oil/lotion and thus would be absolutely Assur because it qualifies as anointing. A damp washcloth from just water, however, is completely permissible (so long as it’s not damp enough that your face or hands would actually be wet after touching it).
