Plans to create an Eruv around Borehamwood were approved at a planning meeting on Thursday night. The public gallery in Hertsmere Borough Council’s chamber was packed with people waiting to hear the decision on whether 34 sets of poles joined by wire can be put up around the town to create an Eruv. now that it was approved, they can ‘carry on’
England has survived since sheshes yemei bereishis without an eiruv why suddenly the urgency?
Mikedrezz – what do you care? Why does it bother you that women will not be able to take their kids out of the house? That people in wheelchairs or with canes wil be able to go out? What is your business? Mind your own! And BTW – Hendon and Golders Green have had an eruv for around 5 years so you’re wrong anyway!

even the chacham tzvi argued for an eruv in england in his famous tshuva!!!
