I think the best way to approach the problem would be to consult with her and tell her that you are trying to become more religious. If she respects your decision then you can continue to have a normal relationship. However if she does not respect your decision then you’re in a quandary. You must decide if you would like to break up with her so that you can better yourself and become “more frum.” If that is really important to you then you will find it easy to break up with her.
