He created us to do His will and to bring Him kavod. Marriage, as well as a number of other things are the ROAD to get there. It’s a lifetime struggle. Marriage is a great way to work on one’s middos, since there’s so much giving, and tolerance involved, which is why it is a big step in the right direction.
