Hard to believe “So my brother made his turkey for this shabbos (you know, the one your wife’s job gives her for free by thanksgiving). And of course, he has like 10 lbs of leftover turkey.”
Turkey, the most delicious bird created by Hashem, can certainly be eaten for a few days after Shabbos Kodesh along with the left over kigel and cholunt. The Chanukah goose leftovers just sit in the fridge.
Now “they” don’t get a chance to ear their leftovers since they are too busy going to Mickey D’s, Dominos and ordering Chinese takeout.
