Chazal teach: “HaBa Letaher Masiin Oto”. Our goal isn’t to maintain current level of observance but to advance. Thus Lakewood seemed to be a good place.
We heard that children of baalei tshuva treated as second class citizens – what can I say – it’s quite unfortunate.
While H/P is closer to Princeton, prices for decent houses are very high. Plus the community seems to be relatively small. We want to live in place that has concentration of frum people – it’s enough for me to spend most of my day with goym – I want to come home to jewish environment.
I heard that many professional folks live in Chestnut area but don’t know what it is. Any insight?
