I covered my ears for most of this discussion but what struck me was a comment (by someone somewhere) about wanting to do something for a daughter because she is just as loved as a son. Of course she is just as loved, but that has nothing at all to do with having a Shalom Zachor, bris or P”H. I wouldn’t want my girls in payis and I wouldn’t want my boys in skirts. I love my boys and thank Hashem thru the celebrations required of them.
