There are a lot of rude people around – but i don’t think they even realize it. i once heard/read a story about someone who was on line at a grocery store yacking away on her cell phone. when the cashier tried to tell her how much she owed, the lady replied angrily “can’t you see i’m on the phone?” the poor cashier was trying to keep the line moving and this lady saw nothing wrong with having a phone conversation!
