how about if everyone counts how many words they can think of and then add to that extra points for the letters that are more than 4-letter-words.. each extra letter is one point.

for example:

i thought of 5 words

last

sing

stare

sting sooo it would be 5+2=*7*

and we’ll put a new word when we see who wins after a day?
