K, first of all, I DON’T recommend canon cameras. I had one for about a year, and it broke down on me a number of times throughout the year. I also don’t recommend Kodak because I have a friend that had it and all her pictures came out really fuzzy. The skinnier the camera,the better, because of 2 reasons
1. I was the only one with a really fat camera and a skinnier camera is easier to hold around.
2. you don’t have to recharge 2 batteries when your not really sure if they are really charged, but if you have a skinnier camera, you just have to charge a little battery until the light flickers. The cameras that I told you about are really long lasting and in good shape. My friends have those types and they had those ones for ages. I personally love the Olympus one, it’s my favorite because it’s small and easier to carry around and it’s great quality.
