If you want to do it, do it.

You will need to have the prerequisites for medical school.

Then you will probably spend this year studying for the MCAT, and take it in spring.

You would then apply to begin in fall of 2013.

Medical school is 4 years.

Then you will do an internship for a year.

Then you will a residency which is between 3 and 7 years.

So you are talking 10-14 years from now.
