I should have been more clear. My mother’s brothers married goyim, so I have many cousins who think they are Jewish but are not. Interestingly, most people on my Father’s side ARE Jews but consider themselves Catholic (R”L) due to all the women marrying Italian men. My father is the only son of an only son (as am I).
