I don’t mean to belittle you or your daughter’s homesickness at all but if you are paying 21k it means you don’t qualify for TAP, Pell, Massa, BY scholarship money, all of which basically brings down the price by half, which means you can probably afford to pop over and visit Chanukah time, bring her back for Pesach, which means she should really get over it how long is it going to be before she sees Mommy and Tatty, already? Again please be mochail but we all need to understand the culture we are raising our kids in and what the mussar avicha v’toras imecha calls upon us to do. And maybe considering the Sems mentioned above is called for on your part and not calling for inventing a so called top-line new sem.
