Yes, it does look nauseating and not tziusdik especially when they chew and talk. This is a “krenk” that is obvious in all types and one cannot finger modern looking only.
In B.Y.H.S. of old with teachers who were students of Sara Schneirer some made us put the gum on the bridge of our noses for a while, as punishment. Some commented too that we were obviously Jewish and kosher and did not have to chew our cud!!!
Personally, it’s one question on my shidduch questionairre, along with nail polish!!!!(if found that any of the above are on girls agendea, they are not for my son/grandson)
