lovesbeingjewish….with all due respect, please use a spell and grammar check when posting. I find it hard to follow your argument with all the errors.
Secondly, When both Yeshiva World News and the Leiby Kletsky Memorial Fund remove their Facebook Pages and stop promoting their “interests” on Facebook I will consider deleting my Facebook Page…
“you go up to shamayim and have to watch a video of your life, trust me, every single person will wish beyond belief that they didn’t spend so many hours on facebook “
I hope I will also see how many people I personally got to donate to the Memorial Fund, because I was able to spread the word to friends, via Facebook, using the “LIKE ON FACEBOOK” link they have prominently displayed on the Leiby Kletzky Memorial Fund’s website…the same fund under the supervision of the Family and their Rabbi (obviously they are all aware that Facebook is an important tool and have approved it)…
Look, I never said you should go on it, I don’t care if you do. Just realize that all your arguments against it can be used for anything…Skype, phones, internet etc…And no I don’t feel this is an extreme to make a point…
I don’t understand why you don’t understand that people don’t all follow the same as you…I can quote many prominent Rav’s that say the internet is assur..So, why are you on it? I guess you don’t hold the same as they do and you know what, that is fine too…Should I call you “a lost cause” as you have called me, because you continue to use the web?
