Tragedy struck the heart of the Flatbush community on Sunday afternoon when an 18 month old baby was R”L killed in a tragic accident. The baby was playing in a driveway when a neighbor pulled a car out of her driveway and ran over the baby. Hatzolah Paramedics responded to the scene, trying their hardest to save the child’s life, but unfortunately, the baby was pronounced dead at Kings County Trauma Center.

The innocent neighbor did not even realize what had happened and drove away – oblivious to the tragedy which had occurred under her vehicle.

The entire episode was captured on a CCTV camera from a neighboring home, and is being used in the on-going police investigation.

As of this time, no charges were filed against the neighbor.

The Chesed Shel Emmes organization was called to perform their duties of cleaning the scene of any blood so it may be buried with the Niftar.

The Levaya of Michoel Evans A”H (East 26th Street and Avenue I) will be at Shomrei Hadas Chapels (14th Avenue & 39th Street) at 3:00PM on Monday. The Kevura will take place in Eretz Yisroel.
