I disagree. I think girls should wear makeup when they want to.
Girls are supposed to feel like women, and think they are pretty, even before they are “on the market.” It is part of their gender identity, and part of who they are.
My niece is 5 and has been occasionally wearing makeup for years. She asks my sister in law to put it on- she wants to do what her mother does. (My sister in law bought this box of 100 colors in target for like 20 buck, and my niece picks random colors and looks a bit odd sometimes. But she likes it and that’s what matters.)
