The Mashgiach, Hagon Rav Don Segal Shlita has been admitted to Shaarei Tzedek Hospital, with what appears to be a pneumonia.

Sources close to Rav Segal told YWN that they were unable to reach the Mashgiach all last week, and had been told that he was feeling ill, and had been in bed most of the time.

On Shabbos morning an ambulance was called, but Rav Segal refused to be transported to the hospital. Later on in the evening he was taken to Shaarei Tzedek, where has been admitted with what appears to be a pneumonia.
