Less than 24 hours before the start of Chanukah, Rabbi Akiva Street in Bnei Brak is a flurry of activity as people run about stocking up on their needs for the holiday, be it new menorah boxes, dreidels, or sufganiyot. Whatever your taste or budget, you can find it either in the tables set up on the sides of the street or in one of the silver boutiques.
