I have a golden retriever, wouldn’t hurt a fly. We have even trained it as a therapy dog, so it goes to hospitals to visit sick children….dogs get a bad rap in the frum world. I understand for a variety of reasons why they are not for everyone, but for the most part they are wonderful to have around….plus as someone already mentioned, they did not bark as we left mitzraim….so maybe as a “reward” they became domesticated pets and get to live with people……
