Reply To: MOTHER INLAWS

Ihave confronted my mother in law on more then one occasion,and told her in a polite way to cut it out, however this never works. The first time I decided to let her know she is out of line was through my wife, when that didn’t change anything I spoke with her on nore than one occasion. Don’t get me wrong she is very nice and I don’t think she purposely acts like an idiot, I just don’t think she can help herself. I have told her many times to cut it out, bec I can’t stand going anymore. One of my sister I’ll laws told me she thinks her mother should be on medication.

I spoke with a rav and based on the facts(many which I can’t list her) I was told for the same of our own shalom bayis to stay away from my inlaws house as much as possible. My kids love going bec they can do what they like when I try to didipline them my mother inlaw does the opposite…………can anyone relate
