3. Can we not call this a ‘CRISIS’??? If we call the shidduch situation a CRISIS then strawberries can’t be a crisis. We can all live quite well without strawberries, maybe it is HKB’H who is asking us to give up one of our summer indulgences by infesting strawberries with bugs. Klal Yisroels singles may be in CRISIS, stawberries, we’ll live without them.

   If something like a strawberry can be avoided, then there is no CRISIS. WE have become so enslaved to our desires that not eating strawberries is not an option, we need to eat them, so now we have a crisis about bugs. Let’s get our priorities striaght. Forget the strawberries and there would be no crisis except for bodek who would lose money on all those $5.00 12oz. containers of frozen strawberries.( Which is probably why the CRC retracted thier first statement)
