Reply To: it turned dark purple

I just cleaned some silver last night that was not polished in a while (prob since last pesach) and while it was very very dark brown/gold it was NOT purple. I kept saying maybe I should leave it until next year and not polish it to see if it really turns purple….. but I could not hold out!
