Whenever I see cheap-shots, I automatically assume that the person handing it is wrong.
The problem is, in many arguments, both sides take cheap shots. (I am not necessarily referring to the argument which prompted this discussion, just making a general observation.)
Why else would they stoop to this?
It might have more to do with the person’s middos than the validity of the specific argument.
