This is not actually a horror story, but could have been one…
Around 30 years ago, my friends mother, and her friends, were in camp and decided to go into town. They stood outside and waited for someone to offer them a hitch. Someone who looked like a frum yungerman asked them where theyre headed to and offered them a hitch. They knew the way to town and soon enough realized hes not going that way, buy they thought maybe he as a quicker route or something… After a while they realized it was no quicker route, but they were in a totally different place. They started saying Shema and they thought this is forsure it. On a very quite road he pulled over, and ordered them out of the car. They were thinking of the worst. A few minutes later, he told them to get back into the car. He said that he is frum like he looks, but he could have not been, and he only did this to teach them a lesson… He then asked them where they want to go and took them there, but made them promise never to take a hitch again.
