Lakewood, NJ – One person was killed in a four-car accident that happened about 4 p.m. Shabbos afternoon police said. One person involved in the accident was airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, and another person was taken by ambulance to Kimball Medical Center, here.

Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit all are investigating. Further details were not available.
