Wolf – You can eat horribly tasting food that your are garunteed not to have hanah from. And besides I think the whole kovod shabbos is that you *DO* have hanah from the food or the flowers. What good is the flowers if you don’t appreciate it. There would be no purpose in buying flowers lkavod shabbos if you wont be home, right? So I think your whole theory that you cant have pleasure from it is not true.
