I LOVE flowers!! when I used to walk up to Ave. J or be around Maimonides Hospital I’d buy flowers (a bunch of beauties for $3-$5-$7)erev Shabbos. now I don’t, but my children give me gorgeous bouquets for Yom Tovim, & my birthday.
my husband, OTOH, buys me treats for Shabbos: GRIEVEN or CHOPPED LIVER!!! they’re ‘treats’ cuz I have high blood pressure & high cholesterol (both under control w/ meds). thanks, lovey, but I sure would love some flowers for the Shabbos table once in a while, too!! 😉
