Maybe explain to him that Jewish Law prevents you from being able to give him the experience of a Shabbos so long as he will drive to/from your house. Maybe he would be interested in spending an entire Shabbos by you when he doesn’t have to go in Shabbos morning. Maybe Purim or Pesach. If he is interested in learning more about Judaism maybe he would be interested in Partners in Torah or an Aish program. There must be plenty of options.
